Este trabajo presenta un informe pericial cuyo interés radica en la cuestión jurídica planteada a raíz de la modificación del Código Civil relativo a relaciones familiares entre abuelos y nietos. El artículo, extraído de la
práctica profesional, plantea una cuestión jurídica poco habitual, en cuanto se plantea en la solicitud de pericia la valoración de los abuelos y nieto para determinar la idoneidad de los abuelos para relacionarse con el menor
y si esta relación beneficia el desarrollo de su personalidad: una demanda de visitas por parte de unos abuelos a un menor con el que no han llegado a tener contacto ni han conocido, dado que las relaciones entre los demandantes y su propio hijo, el padre del menor han sido mínimas, sino nulas, desde 11 años atrás
