Abstract

Gestalt Therapy for children has been forgotten, a lot of times, there are a small number of publications in relation ship with it and short references about theory. Gestalt Therapy as humanistic therapy defendsa very positive point of view about the childhood. Gestalt Therapy has a big reliance on the child abilities and creativity. We speak about Gestalt Therapy for children as if it only were one model, it is not true, there are very different perspectives according to the age of the child. Due to the child are human being always in evolution, the therapis has to know deeply Evolutive Psychology, Pedagogy, Psychodiagnostic. The rol of diagnostic is very important but it is impossible to understand it separate from Psychotherapy. Tfere are some key concepts in order to understand the Gestalt Therapy for children´s model: Awareness, Here and Now, Figure-Ground, Contact, Polarities, Satisfy necessities, Unfinished bussines, Diference betwen feeling and action, Confluence, Projection, Introjection, Retroflection, Dreams, Paradoxical Theory of Change, Context.
