Abstract

The family constitutes a central axis in the psychosocial development of individuals and, as such, has been the object of growing interest in contemporary psychological research. This work presents two complementary studies, as proposals for preventive intervention. The first, in a family school, carried out during two academic years, based on a non-formal program with parents of students, with satisfactory results. The second, in a formal curricular training program, with psychology students, as future professionals, as a training experience of professional skills. The general results are discussed, as well as the benefits of this type of inventions. Its need is confirmed as a primary and secondary psychoeducational prevention tool.
