Abstract

We present in this article the migratory experience as a source of diversity in the psychological praxis, arguing the necessity of developing it as a study matter and a field of professional competence. For this purpose, we highlight some implications of the motive and migratory project concepts, when presented at an individual level. We consider the advantages of taking this
concepts into account due to the increasing necessity for the psychological professional of cultural competence, the utility as a sound comprehension framework and the acceptability by the migrant person.
